For too long, the power of the Black vote in Virginia has not been at full capacity, has been taken for granted or badly fragmented. With YOUR HELP, we are changing that. Born from the historic legacy of the Richmond Crusade for Voters and forged in the urgency of 2025, 2026 & 2027, we are a modern, statewide organization dedicated to representation that finally reflects our collective strength.

Virginia Crusade For Voters is more than an organization — we represent opportunities for statewide political advocacy and mobilization. We bridge the gap between election cycles, ensuring our communities are registered, educated, and actively advocating for the issues that matter most: 
equitable education, economic justice, healthcare access, and criminal justice reform.

With active chapters in every major city and county across the Commonwealth, we are transforming frustration into political power. This is the home of Virginia’s Black voting bloc.

While we operate with the same foundational spirit as the historic Richmond Crusade for Voters — founded in 1956 — we are a distinct, fully independent entity with a mandate that spans the entire Commonwealth of Virginia.
